Career Exhibition are aimed at establishing those seeking careers advice and direction in terms of higher education. The career exhibition stimulates and equips attendees with new ideas and information to increase during the year application. The major aim of the event is to allow learners across all grades and surrounding areas, interested community members and parents to gain career related guidance by visiting the exhibits of the various institutes. As part of the motive, this is done to minimize career confusion in universities that leads to wrong career paths. We want our learners to be clear about what they want to become because we know once they are clear they will involve themselves with activities that will help them venture successfully in their careers.
We facilitate online applications through two approaches: Initially, we visit high schools to assist students in completing online applications for scholarships and academic admissions across different universities. Additionally, we leverage online communication platforms, such as our WhatsApp channel, where students can connect with us to join specialized groups focused on academic admissions and scholarships.
Learners contact our FLOAM telephone numbers to receive personalized advice as needed. We are fortunate to have educated and well-informed executives at FLAOM. Additionally, we visit underprivileged high schools to provide one-on-one career counseling. Our process begins with drafting a formal letter to the school, requesting a list of students interested in career counseling. Once the school accepts the letter and provides the list, we coordinate and schedule a visit to offer our complimentary services. The transportation costs are covered by the executives themselves.
We believe in the power of the mind, which is why we offer this service. Individuals feeling emotionally overwhelmed can reach out to our mental health professionals for support and a safe space to express themselves. Our professionals uphold strict confidentiality and provide non-judgmental care. Our social services extend support to individuals with various challenges, including learning disabilities, physical ailments, and mental health issues. This assistance encompasses practical activities, personal care, and social work, aimed at improving the well-being of those in need. Our services include counseling and care for children in neglectful or abusive environments, as well as provisions such as food and housing subsidies, healthcare plans, job training, and adoption and foster care support.
We assist job seekers with applications for employment. We first register job seekers on our database and create accounts for them with different agencies on the job seeking networks so we can just login and apply for them whenever we want to.
